Little background / Short introduction: We started as small project as Digital Menu for Restaurants. Mostly known as QR code menu system.
We got traction in 1st year and what struck me the most was two Ramen restaurants.
RAMEN KAZU and RAMEN NO WAKUSEI – both in the middle of Europe, Slovakia. Precisely, Bratislava – capital city.
When they Googled us they were immediately interested in our QR Code Menu solution pikMenu (abbreviation from picture and Menu).

Why Ramen Restaurants Uses pikMenu QR Code Menu System?
Epiphany came very soon once I understood that tourist don’t understand their offer.
Owners told me: „Customers taking ages to choose what Ramen they want.“
To me, it was clear… I did not know what even word Ramen meant 🙂
🍜 1. Ramen (the food)

It is made by braising fatty pieces of pork in soy sauce, mirin, and brown sugar. They immediately bought our QR menu system. It was clear why they needed it. To speed up ordering process (even though QR code menu is not connected to POS system) with beautiful pictures of their food.
